LOVE – ART EXHIBITION AND WORKSHOPS
There is room for love in the interactive art exhibition.
What is love? How do you find it, and how does it grow?
Love, the interactive art exhibition is based on children’s thoughts and experiences. It invites visitors of all ages to wonder, discover, and play with love. In the exhibition workshops, you can sow love, play love games, search for the precious ones, care for the weak, and open a secret path to a monster ́s heart. Love art exhibition has been created by PiiPoo’s community artists and art educators. Children from PiiPoo’s Väriläiskä expert group participated in the content design process. Väriläiskä is an expert group of children aged 5–10 that explores the content of various art and culture projects. The aim is to listen to and record things exactly as the child says or shows them. Time is given for working, immersing, and wandering in ideas, and topics are explored through multiple art forms. Väriläiskä brings a child’s perspective to art and cultural services aimed at children. Its goal is to strengthen the children’s experience of inclusion in the planning process. Väriläiskä activities have been part of the PiiPoo Cultural Centre since 2017. Participation in the group is free of charge.
